International Pathway—International Conditional Admission
The Bridge Pathway Program, which combines program, is designed for prospective students
who have not reached KSU’s English language proficiency admission requirement. If
a student meets all other KSU admission requirements but does not meet the minimum
TOEFL or IELTS score, or has no scores, they will be granted conditional admission
through this International Bridge Pathway Program. This type of conditional admission
requires students to successfully complete 1 to 3 semesters in KSU International Bridge
Pathway Program depending their English language proficiency level. Successful completion
of the International Bridge Pathway Program guarantees regular admission to KSU’s
general degree programs. Students in this program may begin taking KSU classes as
they are finishing the ESL courses.
- One to 3 semesters ESL courses depending on levels
- Choice of credit-bearing course in academic colleges
- Guaranteed admission to KSU degree program after completing the Pathway Program, no TOEFL or IELTS score is required for full/regular admission to a degree program
- All credit courses apply to student degree when fully admitted
The International Bridge Pathway Program will provide students with pre-arrival advising, on-site orientation, cross-cultural events/activities, and access to all university facilities, resources, and organizations to help students make the transition as smooth as possible to the social and academic life at KSU, the home away from home.
