Upward Bound Summer Program

Upward Bound hosts a six (6) week summer program that gives students the opportunity to reside on the historic campus of Kentucky State University. The University offers a variety of majors including:

• Agriculture, Food and Environment
• Business Administration
• Computer Science
• Elementary Education
• Nursing

While on the campus of Kentucky State University, Upward Bound participants will receive exposure to the college experience. Participants will take summer classes in English, Writing, Math and Science that will prepare them academically for the upcoming school year.

Additionally, participants will benefit from computer skills, standardize test prep, educational and cultural enrichment trips such as, museums, theaters, amusement parks, and science centers. Participants will have the opportunity to navigate campus cultures by visiting various colleges and universities.
