Strategic employee recognition fuels an environment that inspires new ideas and gives
its communities victories to celebrate. At Kentucky State University, when an employee
or a team achieves outstanding results, big or small, the President and the Board
of Regents established the Thorobred Employee Recognition Program to shine the spotlight
on their great work — the big finish with entry into the Winner’s Circle.
Our goal is to build a culture that thrives and understands the relationship between
great customer experiences and Kentucky State University’s brand reputation. The program
aims to encourage constant workplace improvements, including evaluation of processes,
work flow, communication, and ways to inspire enthusiasm for victories in the hearts
of employees, believing true success happens from the inside out.
The campus community is encouraged to nominate employees who deserve special recognition
for going above and beyond the call of duty.
