The Bachelor of Science in Physical Education Teaching (P-12) candidate may choose from two options: physical education teacher education certification route, or dual certification in both health and physical education certification. Coursework for physical education teaching certification includes courses in exercise science and education. Upon completion of their degree, candidates will receive a certification in physical education, grades P-12. Candidates in this program leave prepared to take professional roles as teachers, fitness coaches, health teachers and persona trainers. The degree program also prepares candidates to move into graduate studies in the area of physical therapy.
