Last night, a Kentucky State University student attempted to harm themself on campus. Please know that Kentucky State University fosters a nurturing and caring campus community free from all personal abuse, whether that abuse is directed at oneself or others. The University is committed to provide crisis intervention and health and wellness education and to connect students with same-day consultation, the right level of care, and referrals.
If you ever feel distressed or are struggling or need help coping, support and assistance are available 24/7. Students can call (502) 597-6969 or the 24-hour mental health line at (502) 229-7735 to consult with a mental health provider.
