Bio:

Shannon Brogan has been a faculty member in Speech Communication since 2009. She currently teaches Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking, Group Discussion and Debate, Persuasive Speaking, Interracial/Intercultural Communication, Institutional Communication, Voice and Diction, and Oral Interpretation. Dr. Brogan serves as the advisor for Speech Communication minors. Her research interests include service learning, intercultural communication and learning styles, standardized testing, family, work, and balance, communication apprehension, instructional communication, and interpersonal communication. Dr. Brogan is a member of the Eastern Communication Association, Siras, and the Kentucky Communication Association. She also serves on Faculty Senate for the Division of Fine Arts, serves as a member of the Academic Advising Committee, and is a co-advisor for the National Communication Association Student Club.
