Why Kentucky State? I’ve always wanted to go to an HBCU. Kentucky State was the one that fit me best!
What is your major and why did you choose this area of study? I chose psychology because I enjoy learning about different thinking and behavioral patterns, and finding ways to help individuals adapt culturally.
Who inspires you and why? I am inspired by the faculty and staff of Kentucky State University. Whether it’s a good or bad day, you never see them down or giving up; they continually push for success and encourage me and the rest of the student body to do so as well.
What do you plan to do when you graduate? When I graduate in May, I plan on continuing my education by attending graduate school to study intercultural communications. Afterwards, I will go on to achieve my Ph.D.
Words to live by: “Great things never came from comfort zones.”
