This program offers the only master’s degree in gerontology in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The objective of the master of gerontology program is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and experience necessary to respond to the needs of an aging society. The program is designed to support students’ career goals in practice, industry or academia.

“By the middle of the 21st century, one in five Americans will be over 65. These growth trends will result in a demand for professionals with knowledge and expertise in aging.”
