EILIGIBILITY
Eligibility
Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded TRIO program that supports students in achieving academic success and graduation. To qualify for participation in the SSS program, students must:
- Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, U.S. national, or provide documentation indicating intent to become a permanent resident,
- Be currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment at the university, and
- Demonstrate an academic need for support services.
In addition, students must meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria:
- First-Generation College Student: Neither parent or legal guardian has earned a four-year college degree,
- Income-Eligible: Meets federal low-income guidelines (students who receive federal financial aid often qualify), or
- Documented Disability: Has a physical, psychological, or learning disability that is officially documented.
