Kentucky State University to receive summer bridge grant funding from the Council on Postsecondary Education
Kentucky State University is one of 25 institutions to receive grant funding from the Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) for summer bridge programs. Members of the Kentucky State University 1972 NAIA championship men’s basketball team were recently honored by the Kentucky General Assembly, with citations from the House and Senate. The 1971-72 Thorobreds won their third consecutive NAIA championship that season. Kentucky State University fared well at inaugural HBCU Indoor Classic
Kentucky State University’s track and field teams fared well at the inaugural KSU and Louisville Urban League HBCU Indoor Classic. The women’s team placed second while the men’s team placed third at the meet, which took place at the state-of-the-art Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center. Kentucky State University director appointed to Bluegrass Tomorrow Inc. board
A Kentucky State University director was recently appointed to a seat on the board for Bluegrass Tomorrow Inc. in Lexington.
