To ensure a smooth and efficient parking experience on campus, all students, faculty and staff are required to register their vehicles with the Kentucky State University Police Department and purchase a permit by October 1, 2023. This registration is essential for maintaining the safety and organization of our parking facilities.

Available permits:

• Students / Faculty and Staff - $50 per semester or $100 for the academic year – (designated zone)
• Reserved Parking - $200 per year – assigned a specific numbered spot
• Custom Reserved Parking - $250 per year – name* on parking sign and placed in spot – may keep sign at conclusion of the year.

Please note, reserved spots, handicap spots, visitor spots, fire zones, and no parking zones are enforced 24/7.

Registration Payment Options:

• Cash or Check: You can pay in person with cash or check at the Bursar's Office located in the Academic Services Building (ASB) on the third floor.
• Credit Card: You can make a payment online using your credit card by visiting: https://www.kysu.edu/student-engagement-and-campus-life/police/permit-prices.php.
• Student Account: Alternatively, you can choose to have the registration fee billed to your student account for added convenience so long as you are financially enrolled.
• Payroll Deduction: Only available to faculty and staff members.

Please note that all revenue generated from parking registration fees will be exclusively dedicated to improving our parking infrastructure. This includes repairing parking lots, enhancing road markings, installing improved signage, and regular maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient parking experience for everyone on campus.

We encourage you to complete your vehicle registration by the deadline. Unregistered vehicles are subject to a $50.00 fine. The first fine is waived if your vehicle is registered within 30 days.
