A Kentucky State University professor and students were recently published in the Journal of the American Society of Questioned Document Examiners.
Dr. Mara Merlino, professor of psychology and sociology, and graduate and undergraduate students published “Cognitive Human Factors and Forensic Document Examiner Methods and Procedures: Writing Characteristics, Visual Context, and Handwriting Examination Decision Accuracy.”
Merlino, Dr. Veronica B. Dahir, Charles P. Edwards, Derek L. Hammond, Chandler Al Namer, Taleb Al Namer and Denise Schaar-Buis are credited for the publication.
According to its website, the Journal of the American Society of Questioned Document Examiners publishes peer-reviewed articles relevant to the field of forensic document examination.
