Due to popular demand among students and tremendous participation, President M. Christopher Brown II is extending Kentucky State University COVID-19 Safety Week activities starting Wednesday, Sept. 2 to Tuesday, Sept. 8.

To keep Kentucky State as safe as possible, every single one of us must be wholly committed to the effort to limit the spread of the virus. We must look after one another and make choices that serve the public good—one of our driving values at Kentucky State, as essential today as ever.

For everyone visiting Kentucky State, we ask that you — wear a face covering while on campus, wash your hands frequently, practice social distancing of six feet or more, monitor your symptoms and complete the daily screening process, and if you are sick stay home or in your residence hall. If your symptoms get worse, contact your healthcare provider or go to the emergency room. If you test positive, please call (502) 507-6271.

Campus compliance with the mandatory EduRisk training is required before restarting in-person activities. Click here for more information on the mandatory training

Students may receive COVID-19 testing at any point during the week. To receive testing, students must contact Health Services at (502) 597-6277.

Campus Life will be communicating more virtual activity and event information via your official University email account.
