Students and faculty recognized for leadership, community service at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Banquet
FRANKFORT — On January 23, Kentucky State University hosted a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Banquet in honor of the late civil rights activist. More than 50 students, faculty, and staff attended the event in the Student Center Ballroom.
The event featured remarks from Associate Professor and Coordinator of Africana and International Studies, Dr. Cynthia Shelton. Also, several students and faculty were honored and presented awards for outstanding service to the University and Frankfort communities.
