
KSU holds its 127th Commencement Convocation
The 127th Commencement Convocation was a historic one for Kentucky State University as it celebrates
130 years as an institution. The May 14 ceremony recognized nearly 250 students who
had completed the requirements for graduation in their respective areas of study.
University President Raymond M. Burse presided over the ceremony, and Major General
Peggy C. Combs, U.S. Army Cadet Command at Fort Knox, Kentucky, delivered the keynote
address.
The ceremony included the commissioning of U.S. Army Officer, Second Lieutenant Nocomis Miner, II.
