The Gates Scholarship 

The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to exceptional student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential. 

Basic Eligibility 

To apply, students must be: 

  • A high school senior
  • From at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
  • Pell-eligible 
  • A US citizen, national, or permanent resident 
  • In good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)  
  • Additionally, a student must plan to enroll full-time, in a four-year degree program, at a US accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university

The Trudy Feliu Scholarship Program 

The Trudy Feliu Scholarship Program supports Hispanic female student leaders.   

Eligibility Requirements 

  • Must be of Hispanic heritage 
  • Must identify as female 
  • Minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for undergraduate students 
  • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, in the US, for the 2024-2025 academic year 
  • Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA, or other Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA) 
  • Submit a FAFSA or state based financial aid application (if applicable)

The Nationwide-HSF Scholarship Program 

The Nationwide-HSF Scholarship Program supports college juniors completing their bachelor’s degree in a business-related major. 

Eligibility Requirements 

  • Must be of Hispanic heritage
  • Minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) 
  • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, in the US, for the 2024-2025 academic year 
  • Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA, or other Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA)

James J. and Margaret M. Kerrigan Endowed Scholarship 

James J. and Margaret M. Kerrigan Endowed Scholarship will provide the opportunity for financial support to U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, and students who have an official DACA status. Eligible applicants must be full-time college juniors or seniors at any accredited U.S. based Historically Black College or University in the fields of K-12 Education or Fine/Performing Arts during the 2023-24 Academic year. 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) form 
  • Have a demonstrated, unmet financial need as verified by their college or university

Great Minds in STEM Scholarship 

Basic Scholarship Requirement

  • Applicants must demonstrate merit through academic achievements, leadership and campus/community activities
  • Applicants must be pursuing a science, technology, engineering or math degree
  • Applicants must have an overall minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for merit-based scholarships.  Applicants may have a minimum 2.5 GPA for non-merit-based donor scholarships.
  • Applicants must be of Hispanic descent and/or must demonstrate significant leadership or service within the underserved community
  • Applicants may be enrolled full-time or part-time at the time of application and the time of the scholarship award
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a STEM or health-related undergraduate or graduate program for the upcoming fall semester, at an accredited 2-yr or 4-yr college/university in the U.S. or its territories. 
  • If you have already earned a bachelor's degree and are seeking support for another bachelor's degree OR you have already earned a master's degree and are seeking support for another master's degree OR you have already earned a doctoral degree and are seeking support for another doctoral degree, you are ineligible to apply to this scholarship program.

John Deere Scholarship 

The John Deere Scholarship is awarded to those who have excelled in academics, extracurricular activities, MANRRS, and community involvements. This scholarship is intended for chapters that demonstrate a strong need for financial assistance. 

Criteria For Collegiate Students 

  • Declared Major: Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Science Related
  • Classification: Collegiate student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Targeted Recipients: Member of a MANRRS collegiate organization, any Person within Minority Status
  • Grade Point Average: 3.0 Cumulative or above

NBCUniversal Media Scholarship

The NBCUniversal Media Scholarship Program is intended to assist and encourage outstanding undergraduate Latino students attending a U.S. post-secondary institution with an interest in the media and entertainment industry.   

Eligibility Requirements 

  • A college sophomore or junior enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university
  • At least 18 years of age or older 
  • Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent 
  • Must be a U. S. Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, or have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future 
  • Have an interest in the media and entertainment industry; all majors are welcomed

Opportunity Scholarship For Locked-out Dreamers 

Award: Up to $80,000 in total for a bachelor’s degree at one of the Opportunity Partner Colleges.

Requirements 

  • Are undocumented and came to the U.S. before November 1, 2018, and have continuously lived in the U.S. since then or have DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) or TPS (Temporary Protected Status)
  • Came to the U.S. before the age of 16 (if you were born in the U.S. – you are not eligible) 
  • Have significant unmet financial need
  • Live in and have graduated or will graduate from a high school in a targeted locked-out state by the end of the 2024-25 academic year
  • Graduated or will graduate with a high school GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale or have cumulative college/university GPA of 2.5 or better
  • Intend to relocate to and enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program at an Opportunity Partner College in the fall

National Scholarship For High School And Community College Graduates 

Award: Up to $33,000 based on the degree and the cost of tuition at one of the National Partner Colleges.

  • Are undocumented and came to the U.S. before November 1, 2018, and have continuously lived in the U.S. since then or have DACA or TPS

  • Have graduated or will graduate from a U.S. high school (or have earned or will earn a high school equivalency diploma) before the fall of 2025
  • Graduated or will graduate with a high school GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale or have a cumulative college GPA of 2.5 or better 
  • Intend to enroll full-time in an associate or bachelor’s degree program at a Partner College in your state in the fall of 2025 or spring of 2026
  • Are eligible for in-state tuition at the Partner College you want to attend (not applicable if it is a private Partner College in your state)
