Forestry and Natural Resources
This interdisciplinary program provides resources to those seeking to understand, plan, and implement forest health, agroforestry, and habitat management for pollinators and wildlife. Many lands throughout Kentucky and the eastern United States are comprised of mixed land use, diverse habitat types, diverse agricultural operations, and low-quality natural areas. We strive to help those working across these lands, which are essentially integrated forest, agriculture, pollinator, and wildlife habitat systems.
We provide resources through outreach and extension events including training workshops, applied research, and media resources.
