Jamaal Jackson, head coach of the men’s basketball team since 2016, held an advanced youth basketball clinic recently in conjunction with the Bermuda Basketball Association. A Kentucky State University alumnus will coach the Team Kentucky bowling team in the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in June in Orlando, Florida. Michael Ghant, a Kentucky State graduate and a teacher at Stewart Home School, has been a Special Olympics coach for 19 years, according to a Frankfort State Journal story. Kentucky State University to receive a total of nearly $1.4 million in federal funding
Kentucky State University recently received nearly $1.4 million in federal funding, as part of a $21.8 million investment by the United States Department of Agriculture in 1890 Land-grant institutions to support research at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
