Social Work

Dr. Angela Williams, Interim Chair, Director of Field Education, and Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work; along with CW PREP Support Coordinator Kaelen Brunson; and scholars Shelby Bell and Paris Wardlow, attended CW PREP’s PREP UP 2025 Retreat on March 28-29, 2025, in Lexington, KY. This retreat brought together students and faculty from across the state, offering invaluable networking opportunities, and insights into preparing for careers in child welfare.

In addition to attending the retreat, the School of Social Work is excited to continue supporting students' professional development. Throughout the week, the School of Social Work will be hosting pop-up recruitment tables at the Carl M. Hill Student Center.
