KSU to Host Annual Federal Reserve Luncheon
On Tuesday, November 12 Kentucky State University’s (KSU) School of Business and newly
created Center for Economic Education and Financial Literacy will be hosting its annual
Federal Reserve Luncheon, in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis,
Louisville Branch. Speakers for the event include Abigail Lillge, a supervisory officer on the Safety
and Soundness Supervision team at the Louisville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank
of St. Louis, and Faith Weekly, community development adviser and a member of the
Community Partnerships and Investment team, also located at the Louisville Branch.
Dr. Gary Stratton, Chair of the KSU School of Business, is pleased to continue hosting
this event on our campus.
“The KSU School of Business and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Louisville
Branch, have been hosting this event for many years now. It is an amazing opportunity
for our students, faculty, and community members to network with one another and learn
more about the inner workings of the Federal Reserve,” he said.
Presentation topics include safety and soundness supervision of community banks and
bank holding companies in the US South, as well as promoting community development
and fair and equal access to credit across the Eighth Federal Reserve District.
