Biography
Dr. Freeman began her tenure track teaching career at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she taught undergraduate and graduate child development, lifespan human development, and introduction to graduate research. She has also taught psychology and education courses at the University of Kentucky, Lexington Community College, and Sullivan University, as an adjunct during her doctoral studies. She currently teaches Statistics for the Behavioral & Social Sciences, Theories & Methods of Human Development, History & Systems of Psychology, and the capstone course Senior Colloquium. Dr. Freeman’s area of research focuses on the social contextual nature of students’ academic achievement and motivation. She also engages in consulting work as a program evaluator on educational reform.
