Emily Messerli

Emily is a family nurse practitioner and former Kentucky Immunization Branch program manager. She  received her undergraduate degree (BSN) from Emory University and her doctoral degree in nursing (DNP) from the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Messerli has experience as an oncology nurse, clinical research nurse, hospice nurse and as a school nurse over her 30 year career. As the Chief Programmatic Officer at the Association of Immunization Managers, Dr. Messerli  works to improve collaborations between state and local jurisdictions and federal partners to increase immunization rates and decrease vaccine-preventable disease. She is also an Assistant Professor in the DNP program at Kentucky State University.
