Mr. Matthew Grimshaw

Matt Grimshaw joined CHI Saint Joseph Health as market  president in December 2024. He comes to Kentucky from  Trinity Health System where he had served as the CEO  since 2017. Prior to Trinity, he was the West Region  President of CHI St. Alexius Health in Williston, North  Dakota, and previously served as president of CHI St.  Alexius Health-Williston for six years. Mr. Grimshaw’s  career has spanned a large part of the country and he has  spent more than 15 years in leadership roles in a variety of  Catholic hospitals. He is passionate about delivering  excellent healthcare services to those in need and has  successfully navigated a wide range of strategic challenges. Mr. Grimshaw earned his MBA from Wake Forest University and his bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is married to Dr. Annette Grimshaw and they reside in Lexington with their three children. Outside of work, Mr. Grimshaw and his family enjoy travel, and has made it a priority to visit friends across the globe to encourage them and to see their world.
