Credible places to find information are not limited to the list below.
Web: The Web is a great place to find information. Use a critical eye in evaluating retrieved information.

Government Departments and Agencies: Publish vast amounts of credible information in various formats. Many academic Libraries are depositories of Government Documents. Some helpful sites are provided.
The Media: Is a great place for current events and ideas for projects and assignments. However, information retrieved here should be verified in another source.
Specialized Dictionaries and Encyclopedias: Are excellent sources for overviews and background information particularly when doing research.
