Research Focus

  • Aquaculture nutrition, specifically nutrients requirement, replacements and further molecular approaches (i.e. Nutrigenomics) that prove the metabolic and immune functions of nutrients, which is fundamental in developing complete commercial feed for sustainable aquaculture of fish and shellfish.

  • Preparing research projects, writing articles, assisting or monitoring graduate students in their thesis research work, conducting research in nutrients requirement, replacements and further molecular approaches (i.e. molecular nutrition or Nutrigenomics).
