Mario J. Radford hails from Nicholasville, Kentucky. He has been married to Melody Radford for 10 years and they have three beautiful children. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies from Kentucky State University, where he currently serves as Musical Director of the award winning Gospel Ensemble.

He is most notably known for his musical ability. His music has been featured on such national platforms as Tri-State Christian Television, The Word Network, the Gospel Music Workshop of America and The National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses.

In addition to music, his passion is Performance Theater and acting. He made his film debut in the highly acclaimed James Brown biopic “Get on Up” as the Chauffeur. In addition, he previously served on the advisory board for the Natchez Little Theater in Natchez, Mississippi. At the Natchez Little Theater, he appeared in the Broadway musical Annie, as Drake, and in The Color Purple, as the beloved Harpo. He won a Best Musical Director Award for his work in Annie and a Best Supporting Actor award for The Color Purple.
