As part of the Kentucky State University’s response to COVID-19 (https://kysu.edu/COVID19/), the Career Services and Professional Development staff will be working remotely during regular business hours (8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) until April 13. Email will be the best way to reach our staff during this time, with opportunities to set up phone calls and online meetings as needed.
Kentucky State University’s Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC) is here to assist students in making successful transitions from their academic pursuits to either the workforce or post-graduate continued education.
The CPDC provides a variety of programs and services to empower students to take ownership of their continuous career development process. Career programs and activities allow students to actively explore interests and develop skills to effectively and efficiently achieve individual career goals.
Our services include:
- Career assessment and exploration activities
- Career and graduate and professional school fairs
- Resume writing workshops
- Search strategies for internships and jobs
- Interview preparation
- Networking with prospective employers, and more
We welcome students of all majors and look forward to working with you.
