The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory, which is in effect until 11 a.m. EST Saturday, Jan. 12. One to three inches of snow is expected along with light ice accumulations due to freezing rain and sleet may be possible.
When inclement weather occurs Kentucky State University may cancel, delay or recommend its campus community use liberal leave.
Out of an abundance of caution and safety, faculty have the option to cancel class or deliver instruction through alternate methods Saturday, Jan. 12. Faculty choosing to cancel classes or modify instruction must notify students immediately.
The University community is advised to monitor weather conditions closely and be cautious as the weather changes.
Only essential staff and service areas will operate as normal.
