Department of Navy’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institutions Program

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Internship Program
Naval Research Laboratory HBCU/MI Internship Program

  • Must be U.S. citizens
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must be suitable for Federal employment as determined by a background investigation
  • Must obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Must be accepted for enrolment OR enrolled in school
  • Minimum 2.5 GP
  • Selectees are required to participate in the Department of Defense direct deposit pay program
  • Cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0.

“The CASE Advancement Internship program seeks to increase and diversify the number of professionals in educational advancement. This program is designed to attract students (undergraduate and graduate) who may not have previously considered a career in institutional advancement.”


U.S. Intelligence Community

Program Overview
Current Positions

  • U.S. citizen
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to obtain and retain a top secret clearance
  • Maintain a 3.0 overall GPA (on a 4.0 scale) at time of application and throughout the program
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, working towards an associate, baccalaureate or graduate degree that aligns with an USIC work role
  • Commit to at least 10 consecutive weeks of work during summer breaks
