The 2016 Circle City Classic was one to remember for Kentucky State University fans, as the Thorobreds won in dramatic fashion on the football field and in the battle of the bands.

The Thorobreds didn’t score until the fourth quarter against Central State University, but the team scored 17 straight points in the fourth and overtime to claim a 17-14 victory at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The Mighty Marching Thorobreds put on quite the performance, as well, capturing top honors in the battle of the bands.

Alumni, students and prospective students had an entire weekend of events to express their love for KSU, from a college fair to the Circle City Classic Parade and alumni tailgating events prior to kick-off.

Thanks to all the students, fans and alumni that came to Indianapolis to support the Thorobreds. See you again next year when the ‘Breds go for four-in-a-row.
