Resources and Tools
- You can file the FAFSA while you are applying for admission to Kentucky State University. High school seniors can get an estimate of their costs and financial aid available by using our new net price calculator. We will begin reviewing your FAFSA once you are at least an applicant with the Admission’s Office.
- Review our Scholarships page for information on KSU scholarship opportunities. A list of outside scholarship applications our office has received is also available online.
- With the U.S. Department of Education’s FAFSA4caster, you can enter in your (and your family’s) income and asset information and receive an estimated EFC. This is similar to what the U.S. Department of Education does when you submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can use this calculator if you do not already have your EFC on the Student Aid Report (SAR) you received after filing your 2014-2015 FAFSA.
Not only does your academic department have academic standards you must meet, but so does our office. We must monitor academic progress for federal and state financial aid eligibility. For free academic assistance, such as tutoring, please contact the ACE Office.
