The Office of Faculty Professional Development / QEP seeks to support faculty as they undertake the teaching mission of Kentucky State University.  It also works to support faculty professional growth as researchers.  To those ends, a variety of events are scheduled each term, including informational workshops, common reading groups, faculty brown bag sessions, and an in-progress writing group for individuals preparing research manuscripts.  The office began in fall 2016 with a couple of events.  It also co-sponsored a visit to campus by the Director of the University Press of Kentucky.
