Welcome to the Center for Academic Persistence & Success (CAPS). The quality of university life is often one of the most significant factors that impacts whether students will complete their courses of study and graduate. The CAPS Academic Persistence Officers work with students throughout their college experience. Through collaborative relationships with students, academic advising is to counsel and educate students regarding academic/major requirements; assist students with finding the proper fit between their interests and skills; provide information regarding university resources; and, as the students matriculate, develop skills necessary for their personal and professional success.
