First day for returning work study students to begin their assignments for the Spring 2016 semester. Students may begin working on this date only if they have worked during the Fall 2015 Semester. New students may begin working if the FWS process was completed in the Fall 2015 Semester, and have signed a FWS Authorization-to-Work form.

First day for new students to begin their work study assignments for the Spring 2016 Semester. Prior to working, new students must complete and submit the New Student FWS Employment packet to the Financial Aid office for processing. Start dates may vary based on the completion of the FWS process. All students must have a signed FWS Authorization to Work form to begin working.

Last day for all Students to complete their work study assignments for the Spring 2016 semester.
If you have NOT worked for the University during the past 12 months, a NEW Student Employment packet must be completed. This packet includes an Employment Application, I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form, W-4 form, Direct Deposit form and a Background Check form. The I-9 form requires a picture ID and either a copy of your birth certificate or Social Security card (or other acceptable form of ID as listed).
To begin the FWS employment process, please read the FWS information provided under “Federal Work-Study Assignment Process” link located below. Once you have read the information, please scroll to the bottom of the page, and print a “Returning” or “New” Student FWS Application packet. Please provide the necessary information requested in the packet, and submit the completed FWS packet to the Financial Aid Office. You can find the information here.
