As media devices have merged with networked devices, we have integrated media technology with information technology. Media services provided to the campus include:

  •     Equipment Setup Assistance
  •     Multi-Media Classroom Assistance
  •     Technical Support for Media Equipment
  •     Equipment checkout (Faculty & Staff only)
  •     Dubbing
  •     Video taping special campus events

Semester long, standing orders should be made a week before the semester begins. Depending on the availability, certain types of equipment may be checked out to individuals on a daily, weekly, or semester basis.

All one-time orders should be made at least 3 days in advance.

All requests are filled on a first come, first served basis.  Equipment will be setup by IT staff member if requested.


In order to provide timely and reliable service, the point of contact for all media request must be made to the IT Help Desk. To contact the IT Help Desk submit a service request at www.kysu.edu/helpdesk, call the Help Desk at extension 7000 or send an email to helpdesk@kysu.edu.
