Qualifications for Election of National Officers
All elected positions on the Executive Board of the KSU National Alumni Association will be declared vacant at the 2017 Homecoming General Assembly Meeting. The Constitution will be used as the operating document upon which our election process will be conducted. Please consult this document for specific qualifications to hold office on the Executive Board of the KSU National Alumni Association.
Positions which will be vacant are as follows:
• Vice President
• Recording Secretary
All Candidates MUST be in good standing with the National Alumni Association and a local chapter (if applicable), must have paid all national assessments and are supportive of the University and Alumni programs. Anyone who submits a petition for office must meet the qualifications stated below.
President and Vice President MUST have demonstrated leadership skills, not limited to the national or local level.
Recording Secretary and Treasurer MUST have demonstrated skills related to the office being sought.
Member-at-Large MUST be able to represent the point of view of financial members unaffiliated with a local chapter.
Candidates Running for Office MUST complete the enclosed Prospective Candidate and Verification forms. Please return by September 15, 2017, to:
