Dear Alumni,

Welcome to your home for alumni news and information.

A special welcome to 2013 graduates; you will receive a free membership for one year. After your first year, you may join/renew on this site. You are also invited to network with active Alumni chapters across the United States and around the globe.

We are in our Capital Campaign to raise $12.5 million dollar, and you can make a major impact by making a gift to the KSU National Alumni Association President’s Capital Campaign Challenge, the Permanent Alumni Scholarship (PAS) Fund, your Class In Reunion, and the university. Every gift counts no matter how large or small. Get your name added as a donor during the Capital Campaign.

The National Alumni Association encourages all alumni, associates, fans and friends to stay connected by keeping your contact information current, signing up for the e-mail list serve, following us on Twitter and liking us on Facebook.

We have a rich and interesting Alumni Association History, Alumni Strategic Plan and an Alumni Association Constitution that is worth a look. We are moving our Classes In Reunion back to Homecoming in 2013. But the Golden 50 year Class will continue to celebrate at Commencement in May.

It is the aim of the Kentucky State University National Alumni Association to see that your Kentucky State University experience does not end at graduation. If you continue to be engaged with Kentucky State University, you will find your life vastly enriched by our alumni services and resources.

We always look forward to alumni returning home and visiting Frankfort. Let’s talk whenever we meet and especially at Commencement, Homecoming and on the new Kentucky River Thorobred boat. Kentucky State University is your campus, and we encourage all our alumni to return and visit as well as use the array of services available through the Office of Alumni Relations. Our objective is to provide opportunities and services to help you connect with fellow alumni and to KSU.

We want to hear from you, especially as we explore new ideas to better fulfill your needs. Please contact the Alumni Relations Office at any time at (502) 597-6511 or by e-mail at

Thank you for your continued support of our alma mater. The Office of Alumni Relations looks forward to serving you.

Garland W. Higgins ’86
