Kentucky State University graduates are required to wear the university-approved cap, gown, and hood at commencement and graduation.
You may order keepsake regalia on Monday, November 30, 2015, in-person at the Student Center Ballroom, 4th floor, from 10 am – 3 pm. Contact bookstore for pricing.
All graduates will wear academic regalia. Women should wear dark dresses, black shoes, and modest jewelry. Men should wear dark trousers, black shoes, a dress shirt, and a dark tie.
ROTC cadets, who are receiving commissions will wear ‘Dress Blues.’
Graduation attire should not be removed at any point during the Ceremonies.

Required Participation in Commencement
All graduates are required to participate in the Commencement Ceremonies, unless excused. Candidates for Graduation that are unable to attend must request to be excused in writing to:
