About Dual Credit
Kentucky State University’s Dual Credit program offers college-level courses for high school students in a cooperative arrangement with local school districts. Dual Credit course offerings provide a route for high school students to earn college credit while simultaneously meeting their high school graduation requirements. Getting a head-start on your college education and joining KSU’s Dual Credit program can help you:
- Graduate from college earlier
- Spend less money on college
- Prepare in advance for university and career settings
Dual Credit programs also benefit public school systems, some of which have limited resources to offer advanced courses. Our program emphasizes efficiency by combining high school and college-level foundation courses that have similar content.
