The College of Business and Computer Science (CBCS) at Kentucky State University is committed to providing a dynamic and stimulating learning environment where a combination of best practices in instruction, research and laboratory work prepares students for the global workforce. The College offers programs leading to bachelor and master degrees in Business Administration and in Computer Science. Both the undergraduate and graduate programs educate students to become professionals who are able to adapt to societal change, communicate effectively, and become positive change agents.

The School of Business

The School of Business offers an undergraduate Business program with concentrations in Accounting, General Business, Management, and Marketing, as well as an M.B.A. program which is taught in the evenings to allow working professionals to attend.

The School of Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), and is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

The Division of Computer Science

The Division of Computer Science offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Bachelors of Science degrees are offered in Digital Gaming, Entertainment, and Simulation, as well as traditional Computer Science. The Division also offers a Master of Science in Computer Science Technology with specializations in either Information Engineering or Cybersecurity, and is in the process of attaining accreditation by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
