Background and Interests
Dr. Weick serves as Director of the Institute for Liberal Studies (ILS) and the Integrative Studies Program (IGS). Most of his teaching is done in IGS courses. His research interests are in the field of Modern British Literature, and he has published numerous articles and essays in that field, most recently “The Crucial Antithesis: Orality/Literacy Interaction in the Poetry of Dylan Thomas,” appearing in Time, Art, and Memory: Essays on the Thought of Walter J. Ong. (New York: Susquehana University Press, 1998).
