The arts broaden human potential, provide room for creativity and growth, facilitate in the development of cognitive and expressive skills, and enhance a society’s quality of life. The Division of Fine Arts prepares its majors and minors for a variety of professions in the arts and related fields and gives them a foundation for graduate study. Through its numerous concerts, theatre productions, arts exhibitions, lectures, and workshops, the Division provides an aesthetic and cultural environment that is vital to the academic life of the University.
