The FRIENDS program is a branch of the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) and serves as an academic resource program that assists non-traditional students who are beginning or continuing their college education. The program is designed to address the holistic development of non-traditional students and help non-traditional students identify and utilize on-campus and off-campus resources that lead to student success, while supporting their retention and satisfaction rates. In addition, the program works in cooperation with on-campus departments and community agencies, providing professional and life-skills workshops, valuable information and opportunities for peer support. In addition, students will discover effective strategies that build confidence and promote balance between school, work, and family responsibilities.
